The only child of Old Town's doctor and a mother who had very frail health, Peony grew up in a struggling, but very loving family with a father who dedicated all of his waking hours to caring for others. When the young Chip was introduced as one of their father's patients, Peony took to him quickly and the two became close friends. After the Raid happened, both Peony and Chip were taken in by Duke and moved to New Haven. Peony now works there as a botanist and herbalist, growing all sorts of plants, produce and herbs. Having learned quite a bit from their father, Peony also acts as the unofficial doctor of the town. 

Their Power of Seven trait grants Peony immense empathy and the ability to put themselves in other people's shoes. They have an incredibly warm heart and cannot bring themselves to send away anyone who needs help.
