The Voidhound

Intelligent canine-like psychospecter. Instead of bonding itself to one specific host and waiting for them to die, he jumps from host to host and becomes more intelligent with every mind he reads over, collecting more void from their blood and more misery from their brains. Because of this, he gradually becomes more powerful and larger, but never reaches the adult stage of its life. He enjoys tormenting others and trying to convince his hosts to harm themselves or others so that he can devour their remaining life force rather than their bodies as most of his kind does. Because of this, he's able to conjure some magic ranging from illusion and blindness to freezing someone solid. His goal is to drown the entire world in misery before causing a mass suicide event so that his species can prosper by taking the bodies left behind.

His mouth constantly hangs open as if broken, yet he somehow pronounces every word he speaks perfectly. He often hangs just at the edge of someone's vision, whispering cold nothings to them and driving them further into paranoia and despair.
