Great enemies made for even greater lovers in the case of Aries and Killjoy. When first they met as raiders, the two were the most bitter of enemies; though responsible for scars on each other, both physical and emotional, the two share a strong kinship to one another. They live by the mantra that, due to their hateful pasts, no one could know them like they know each other.

Astoundingly, Killjoy and his partner maintain a surprisingly healthy relationship despite their past altercations. Supportive, loving, and encouraging of one another, Killjoy calls the shots while Aries provides protection and affection that he has never experienced from anyone else. The love between these two is firm, and its equally as common to see them engaged in a bit of handholding or cuddling as it is to find them playfully betrating one another or dropping snide comments for "old time's sake".
