Wolfsbane

The lord and master of the Ethereal Kingdom, Wolfsbane has gone through hell and back to get to where he is now. A beloved king, he keeps his subjects safe and is not afraid to fight for their honor if he must. although he spent a lot of his time alone, he is faithful that this third time is the highest charm of the past few, he is determined to make sure that he does not fail his subjects this time.

Oh, and how Wolfsbane cares for his husband Crowshimmer. Although Crow may have a very abrasive personality, Wolfsbane doesn't mind listening to him speak his mind, as he knows that Crow will always tell him if he is truly doing something wrong.

Wolfsbane is a large tom, although not larger than most. Despite his slightly larger size, he isn't a very muscular cat. Instead, he's much more fluffy than anything, with a majestic and thick tail that trails behind him almost like a peacock's tail.

Wolfsbane is not an overly kind leader, nor is he an overly cruel one. To him, loyalty is all that matters. He cares little about bloodlines, about brethen, and only about how willingly a member is to serve him.

His subjects would not lend such a thought against their impression of him, but Wolfsbane started life as a humble cat from a small colony of about twenty: a young kit by the name of Cloud, after his fluffy tail. His parents, Marble and Saffron, were mostly average cats. From birth, Cloud desired to be a healer. A committed member of their colony, their leader assigned Cloud to train under the tutelage of Parsley, an older molly who was looking for someone to take over after she passed. Cloud was a fantastic healer, and by the age of fourteen the colony was certain he would one day grow into a healer that could rival the greats.

But the gods must have decided that wasn't to pass. After a particularly gruesome battle with a clowder, Thunderfall's leader—Condor—nearly succumbed to their injuries. Cloud and Parsley did all they could to try and mitigate the harm, but Condor was growing more and more frail with each passing day. On a fateful day, while tending to Condor's wounds alone, the dying leader asked for Cloud to end their suffering. The pain was too much to bare, and Condor only wanted peace. At first, Cloud denied doing so, how could he kill his own leader? But their injuries quite clearly caused too much pain, and so Cloud dug into the hidden storage of poisons that Parsley kept for such an occasion. Using the wolfsbane plant, Cloud sent his leader to an early grave. However, the rest of the colony did not see it this way. He had been caught poisoning Condor, and none would listen to him as he tried to explain his actions. They demanded his exile, and although Parsley tried to intervene, they drove him out.

Now a full adult—at the age of twenty—Cloud decided he no longer wished to be recognized by that name. Choosing the name Wolfsbane in honor of what had gotten him exiled from his colony in the first place, he tried to find somewhere he could call home. His traveled took him to the far north, where he came across the Spectral Kingdom. A group of cats who named themselves for their pale pelts and in honor of the spirits above, they accepted Wolfsbane into their ranks without question. Their leader at the time, Zephyrus, saw potential in this young tom who was able to heal others so efficiently.
