Zennia

People have probably seen Zennia around the city. Next to a van, trying to reach something, nodding politely at the old lady talking to him in the hallway. Sometimes he is in the catacombs. Never doing the same thing in the same place, but always carrying a palpable sense of guilt and weariness when treated nicely. She offers to help at any percieved need, sometimes insisting to the point of argument with others. Always objects to people who ask if she needs to call 911, though Zennia still ends up in and out of ERs and psych wards...

Zennia would love to say that he's doing fine, actually. Kicking herself out of home before any family members could figure her out has at least let him say that he has control over his actions. Given the vast, unyielding skyline of the city he's amazed that his car hasn't been sold, repossessed or worse. It's better than having to face the headaches she gets in full view, on public transit where everyone is secretly wishing you'd overdose right then and there. The people who could do that are braver than Zenn has ever seen herself: needing to get away, far, far away, where it's just him and the rain and it's all been overgrown with plants and flora that could sustain and protect everyone to where she'd feel safe enough to stop going back to needles without accidentally spilling blood-
