about
A child born from a wood spirit and a human, Hue walks in two worlds without truly belonging to neither. Originally raised in a small forest village by his father, the two of them were later exiled due to Hue developing magical powers. The villagers believed that only the God’s and spirits could possess magic, and as such, Hue was considered a monster.
Hue is capable of manipulating plant growth, and for a long time, he wandered from village to village along with his father to sell perfumes, potions and rare herbs. Hue's father later fell ill and died peacefully in his sleep. After his death, Hue became a hermit and rarely ventured out into civilization. He feels guilty for his fathers death as he was unable to treat him, and focuses on perfecting his magic in all areas, especially healing.
The scar on his face is actually live moss, and it feeds of Hue’s blood and magic. Their growth depends heavily on Hue’s emotions, and spreads outwards when he is distress, slowly consuming him. If Hue gets injured, plants will sprout from his wounds and form a sort of ‘scab’ that will wither when the wound is healed over.

- his right eye is dark green (#6a7d5f), with a very pale green snake pupil. his left eye is half mossy green (#af9143), half peachy gold (#df9269) with a normal dark brown pupil.

Currently a hermit and having rarely interacted with anyone outside his father, Hue is very reserved and likes to observe more than engage. Not used to holding a conversation, Hue will often trail off in thought midsentence, unsure of how to continue. He possesses a calm disposition, easily willing to give ground to avoid conflict, and speaks in slow hushed tones.
Though quiet, Hue is hardworking, working tirelessly to perfect his magic. This means that he often forgets about his own health. Most of this dedication is fueled by his own self-loathing, stemming from the guilt of not being able to save his sickly father even though he had the capabilities too. This is also the reason he chose to self isolate, and Hue is often lonely.
