- His antennae are grass stems.
- His wings are leaves, and are fully poseable and functioning.
- His front arms have 3 toes each.

- 000-viii Vetru transformed him originally, saving him from a fire. Rum is grateful to Vetru and respects.
- 1182 - Ayla is a dear friend and mentor to Rum, she also performed his second transformation.

He goes by Rum, or Hum, Bumble.
Rum is a very cheerful esk, full of love and curiosity.
Before he became abnormal he was irritable and bothered by a lot of things, but now he is much more calm. His years of meditation and observing insects taught him patience and wonder, and he is instant friends with many esks now.
His favorite things to do are, to meditate, Watch bugs, sit in the sun, search for hiding places.
He was originally a moth, transformed into an esk by Vetru during the Firestorm event, and then later on, transformed into an abnormal by Ayla.
Insects he often is seen with;
-Damselfly : Lives near his burrow.
-Beefly : Lives near his burrow.
-Inchworm : Lives near his burrow.
-Southern flannel moth : Lives near his burrow.
-Insects in general flock to him and he loves hanging out with them.
