Personality: There was a time once, when Adina was totally innocent, having been sheltered all her life from the bad and evil things of the world. She is sweet, though painful experiences have left her not quite as always cheerful as she once was. No doubt she misses the days when she seldom felt negative emotions of any kind. The most vividly impactful event, of course, was the loss of her father and she never stops missing him deeply and the way things used to be. She doesn't consider herself particularly strong or brave, though when it comes to deeds, it is evident there is more to herself than she gives credit for.

History: Adina was born in a time of grief for her father, though she knows only a fraction of what that means. She knows nothing of the many losses that he has sustained in his life or the tragedies that have befallen him. She knows only a little of all that. Raised by her beloved father and, for a time at least, her doting elder sister, Adina has lived a mostly carefree life for these first seven months that she has lived. When the storms came her sire kept her close, but it was in this time of disasters that grief first touched the little filla's life in the form of the death of Rena.

However, young as she was, though she will always miss her big sister, Adina has never had grief weigh upon her. She loved to spend time with her father and, despite her youth and innocence, she sensed some of the darkness troubling his soul, and always did what she could to lift his spirits. With the arrival of Kiseki, Adina often was with her father when he watched over the Hackney mare as she slept. She was always curious, but never questioned her sire's decision to not introduce them. However, when he did finally let them meet, the filla's joys could not be described, so great they were. She adores Kiseki now and is glad to have such a friend.

Not long after meeting Kiseki, events overtook the herd of which Adina understood very little. She knew that her father had been forced to fight, though why she was not so clear on. Only when, as her sire slept, did she find out a little more when the Versai stallion, Raef, arrived to inform them that he had challenged the Helkaer villain and won back their freedom. Through Raef's explanations, she finally understood a little better what had happened, though such greed and cruelty is beyond her ability to even imagine. In addition, the tovero filla had made another new friend. Even if her father had nearly had a heart attack when she told him about what she had done in leaving him to sleep while she went to investigate when Raef had first arrived. She had no understanding of the cruel things some equines are capable of....

She made a new friend in the mare Hope and was eager to help the mare with whatever troubled her. Having met Mark, she was equally eager to help the poor stallion find his missing son, even though she wasn't entirely sure how to do that. She was able to help Hope, unable to help Mark... but it was she who soon was in need of aid when she found her father, battered near to death. She managed to get him to the Versai, hoping that the friends she had made there could help her father. Sadly, there was nothing anyone could do but help her father to be as comfortable as possible through his last moments of life. Hope and Eos promised to look after her, and have kept their promises - and she knows she has a guardian angel, none other than her father - but it has been extremely difficult to adjust to life bereft of the one constant formerly such a part of her life.

At least she was able to make new friends. Such as young Milo, who had lost his family just like her. Or Anthony, who clearly had endured terrible experiences unlike anything she had before been aware were even possible. She was going to meet up with Anthony, bring him home to Rosemonde... but fate and a mare called Avversaria had different ideas for the buckskin damsel. Told that Aurora needed her, that the former Versai who had taken her in would die if she did not act immediately, Adina found herself following the mare who had never even introduced herself.

Turns out... it was a trap.

Adina has been languishing in the dark as a captive of Oinaze ever since. Forced into the darkness, practically forgotten, left nearly starved, Adina does not expect to survive much longer...

Perhaps there is some consolation in the idea of being reunited once more with her father?
