- Personality
Derek is a strict and disciplined hell hound. Years of hard training has made him tough, nothing can break through his hard shell. He is brutal with his executions and is string-willed. Derek can also be charming if he wants to. He used his sweet-talking and persuasion to manipulate whoever he wants. - However, he is easily swayed by his siblings. He cares deeply for them as they're the only family members he has. For a good 500 years, he was always alone and he had to take care of the gates by himself. So to finally have people to call his family makes him soft.
- He is very protective of his siblings and he will do whatever it takes to keep them all safe from any harm.
- Appearance
Derek has 2 forms, the more humanoid form and the shadow form. - In his humanoid form, Derek has dark skin and fully red eyes. He has droop ears like a cows with red insides and bull horns. His face is is rough and edged but he sort of has a soft look in his eyes at times. Derek has a built body type as he exercise a lot. Strong muscled arms and wide shoulders. Yet his lower half is more sleek looking. He has a goats foot and a demon's spade tail.
- Derek wears uniforms almost on the daily. At times, he wears formal outfits to fit the occasion. His siblings have tried to put him in more casual clothes (or in Sozeren's cases, more glam) and it looks weird on good on him but Derek refuses to wear them in public. He finds the "Family Man Dad" look to be his favourite.
- In his shadow form, Derek is purely made of shadows and it's pitch black. His facial features mostly disappears except for his eyes and eyebrows. His eyes are white glows but the insides of his ears stays red. Sometimes, smoky wisps would appear whenever he moves or if he feels like intimidating his opponents. He has the North Gates emblem on his forearm. His hands grow to a more monsterous size as well.
- When in rage mode, fire will engulf him in random parts of his body. The most common is on his legs and shoulders. Random red spikes would appear all over his body. They usually start on his horns but would later on appear on his arms. He can make these red spikes to form teeth and change their shape and location however he pleases.
- Backstory
- Eldest of 5 and Aagenti's oldest brother. Derek and his siblings guards the gates of the under world making sure that no soul leaves and no soul enters. He is strict and disciplined. He can be charming when he wants to. He is known to all those in the underworld as the most ruthless and savage hellhound of them all. However, he is very fond of his brothers and sisters. He dotes on them constantly and is very supportive on all their interest. He's the embodiment of this vine.
- He is asked to train his youngest sister to be just as powerful and terrifying like his other siblings, but he can't bring himself to turn Aagenti into another ruthless hellhound. The purity and innocence of his youngest sister keeps him sane. The comfort he gets from hanging out with his brothers makes him warm. His sisters gives him hope. The world, as Derek sees it, is unfair and cruel and so he must be even worse than the world to survive. But he will do anything to keep his siblings safe and keep whatever innocence they have left with them.
- He may be the scariest hellhound to ever guard the gates, but he is the best brother a pup could ever have.
- Also his real name isn't actually Derek. If anyone even dares to say his real name out loud, they would never be able to handle the power he has. So he picks a name mortals can say with ease. Derek sounds the most like an asshole name so of course Derek has to pick it.

Sister
His youngest sister who he adores dearly. She isn't fit to be a True Hellhound so he protects her and hides her in the Capitol, far away from any harm. He's a little too over protective of her. - Kalron
Brother
Younger brother. He sees himself in Kalron and finds it funny. He keeps Kalron from getting into too much trouble but Kalron keeps fighting back. He spoils Kalron but Kalron doesn't realise this. - Sozeren
Brother
Younger brother. He doesn't quite understand Sozeren's interests but he appreciates and supports his brother's choices. He just wishes that Sozeren doesn't "glam up" his uniforms anymore. - Vinnunar
Sister
Younger sister. She was under his wing the longest and he knows how much Vinnunar looks up to him. He wishes that the sister takes things a little bit more easy as he doesn't want her to break down. - Question
