Raimundo was born and raised in São Paulo, where he met his wife, whom he believed to be the love of his life. They attended the same campus and quickly hit it off. Two years after they graduated, they got married. However, they went through a very difficult divorce that left him completely heartbroken.
He is now in a constant state of misery. Even before his divorce, there wasn't a day that went by without him complaining about his job or anything else that slightly bothered him. Raimundo never intended to become a teacher, but that's where his diploma led him, which made him very unhappy. Now that his marriage is over and he has lost everything, he just can't seem to get back on his feet.
He is a bit bicurious in a way that he cries whenever anyone approaaches him romantically, but never really tried anything. If he did, he would probably turn the lights off, pretend it's his wife, and start crying.

Helena and Raimundo had somewhat of a rocky divorce as most assets were in her name. He still misses her and wishes they could be together despite their incompatibility. She tries to be civil with him for the sake of their child but would much rather cut off contact with Raimundo completely.

Raimundo loves his daughter but isn't the greatest dad. He tries to be a good father on the weekends he has her, but he just doesn't know how to take care of a child by himself. He forgets special dates, including birthdays and extracurricular classes, but he usually tries to be there for her nonetheless.
