porcelain heart

they’ve spent too much time in the ruins, causing parts of their body to deteriorate such that they’ve had to replace them with porcelain prosthetics. however, the effects of the ruins are long-lasting, and it’s only a matter of time before their fungus shatters them from the inside. a couple hundred years down the line i imagine them to be like a statue of midas, unable to escape their gilded fungus shell.
