Hiding from mad scientists and letting it linger.

Physical traits: Anthro jackalope with gold red tinted spectacles. Basically just a hare except for antlers and hooved feet. Tag on ear is optional and could be replaced with a black or silver stud earring. 5’1” without ears or antlers.

TLDR Story:

In a fictional steampunk-esque world, James Dockson, a naive reporter goes undercover in a highly secretive scientific institute. While trying to take photos of a testing center and an unknown substance referred to as “goop” (for now) he gets into a lab accident. Instead of being thrown back to the streets, the accident appears to have given him new abilities. And side effects. Dockson becomes a lab experiment himself.

A year after his escape, the goop had been experimented with more, resulting in many failures. But also some successes. Sort of. A strain of it had been altered into a drug that essentially turns a person into a zombie

Now rather reclusive, Dockson remains nearly unfindable. However, due to his rumored supernatural abilities and connections to the institute, he’s sought out by certain parties intending to hire him as a spy.

Reluctantly, he agrees to the terms and becomes the Jackrabbit: a thief of the shadows. During the job, he wears a mask and breaks his antlers to blend in. He works to track down shipments, confiscating the drug (he’s immune to it, another reason he was sought out) as well as getting the details on the network and source.
