Caged somewhere behind the world is a being of chaos and destruction, willing to bargain with any soul foolish enough to offer her another inch of freedom. When she is free all will be bright and terrible, all too much to bare. She will break all that can be broken, and bend all else beyond recognition.

The breaker of all things, Hairline Smiles was once in constant battle with her brother, The Firmament, an embodiment of order and structure, turning all of the things he built on their heads, causing violence and insanity on a scale incomprehensible to human minds. Eventually, he created humanity, but he found them unable to survive in a world where his sister had full reign, and so caged her below reality.

CHAPTER 1 [The Early Years]
" I am the Firmament Breaker. "
Once all was Chaos, as one of the two architects was so uncontainable as to cause all the works of her brother, her nominal equal, to come to naught. So raucous and rampant was she that nothing remained unbroken for more than a day or so, though of course, there was no time with which to measure that. She kept breaking that too.
CHAPTER 2 [IMPRISONMENT]
" These bars will not hold. "
Eventually Firmament got sick of her shit, and managed to, after much struggle, lock her away. There she remains to this day, biding her time, striking deals with unfortunate mortals hoping to get some small measure of power, inching her way ever closer to freedom.
