Adir is an calm and patient Octoling. He feels very secure in everything he does and his strong will supports his dedication. If Adir has something he wants to achieve he will work for it until he has it. But since the Octoling knows exactly what he wants, he can be very direct and judgmental when he's not satisfied. That way some people describe him as cold. The fact that he keeps a lot of things private makes him seem even more suspicious. His biggest problem is his inflexibility. When something isn't going according to plan and the plan b to xyz fail or are no option he'll be thrown out of the flow. When that happens he tends to react out of panic and his decisions are made without any thought put into it.

Adir Yates... A tricky Octoling with a love for money. This is mainly because his family never had much of that because only his Mimic Octopus mother was able to work. Speaking of his parents, Adirs father is a deadly black Bluering Octoling. Combining the two species made Adir a master of masquerade... And a deadly one on top of that. But worry not: Adir only uses the deadly poison when there is absolutely no other way. He was taught to control his poison from early on, especially since Bluerings had it hard enough in this world. The hybrid Octoling soon found out about the mimic skill and spend his childhood tricking children, caretakers, teachers. 

He enjoyed the mimic especially since it was such a handy skill. Aaaah stealing things had never been easier. Oh and he could hide the fact of being half Bluering of course.

When he grew older he wanted more. Stealing something big and sell it on the black market. And so he did. He single-handedly stole blueprints of canned specials from the Squidbeak Splatoon, more specials and even canned weapons from the depth sea metro. When he got engineers and professors to work and refine the canned goods he started to sell them for an insanely amount of money. Mafia, gangs, they all buy his cans. He also holds the patent on them since the Splatoon isn't officially active and no one truely knows about the metro... 

He had been traveling the world to find more people to work for him, more customers to get money from. Since a while Adir is accompanied by a red haired Octoling called Idan, who seems to act as a bodyguard. Adir isn't interested in anything else but that money, he doesn't spend much, he just loves to have it.
Idan once said, that Adir regularly takes some money and goes off somewhere without allowing Idan to follow his blue colored friend.
