Eleiko is a brave Octoling. She's very dedicated about things she values and very dutiful when it comes to tasks related to those. Other things? Ah, not so much. Elo might do things she doesn't want, but she could change her decision in a fraction of a second, and then there's no going back since she can be stubborn as a mule. If you still try to get her to do something she'll get sassy and insensitive real quick. When she feels content this octo is a rather reserved one.

• Elo was my first female Octoling Oc I ever drew and her design barely changed
• I saw the name Eleiko as a sponsor for a weight lifting competition and thought it would go well as Elo's true name. After checking its meaning it was decided. It's also a nice piece of trivia especially since the octoling has a well toned muscular build.
• When scared her tentacles literally roll up
• Elo tends to hide when she's annoyed or unhappy.

Eleiko was born a soldier. One of DJ Octavio's soldiers. She grew up being stealthy, she was trained from early on. Her name Eleiko XXXXX got taken from her, making her simply "Elo". Without that last connection to her parents Elo aimed to become an Elite, a kelp Octoling. But no matter what she tried, she didn't manage to do so. She was assigned to a mini zapfish mission so she could show what she was made of. Unfortunately an agent from the Squidbeak Splatoon got in her way, ruining her mission. It wasn't the first time that this very agent rolled stones in her path. Once admitting that she had yet again failed her mission her commander just smiled and offered her some special training that would help her getting closer to becoming an Elite. Of course she accepted!

But Elo wasn't aware that this was a sort of jail. Enslaved for working in the mines, withstanding poisoned food, Elo still believed that this was a training facility... 

She can't remember what happened but one day she claims she simply woke up in an hospital bed.

Elo had been rescued... Along with all the other octolings who survived those extreme conditions in that jail. And it was none other than the agent "that got her into this mess" who found the facility and ordered the whole available Splatoon for a rescue mission. 

Without her home, without her comrades Elo developed a traumatizing fear of inklings. Her whole life she was taught what relentless creatures they were. Trying to leave the hospital she was forced back to bed by the splatoon agent. Elo then knew about his name, Mathis, but it needed an Octoling Doctor to calm her. Whenever an inkling tried to get close she jolted into the next corner, screeching, gnashing her fangs and ready to bite, ignoring that her wounds ripped open again... She was recovering surprisingly fast nevertheless. 

The agent Mathis kept an close eye on her, eventually getting her to relax around him as long as the octoling doctor was in the same room. A bit more time passed and Elo was content enough to let Mathis take her home with him for rehabilitation. Elo needed someone who was able to keep her still and soothe her at the same time in case her trauma got through to her again. 

Ever since then Elo is living with Mathis and his siblings, developing a love for sweets, hot chocolate and all kinds of foods. She's slowly getting better but it will take Elo quite a while to forget her past and continue her life as a citizen of inkopolis.
