The younger brother of a respected oracle, Robin may not have any particular abilities of his own, but he's satisfied with the connections he's forged on his own merit. He enjoys the outdoors and discovering new things. He loves animals and is constantly trying to badger adults into giving him a pet. Robin is adventurous and he does his best to be kind to everyone, although sometimes he doesn't succeed. He likes people but making new friends is hard so he ends up talking to the same people over and over again. Puzzles and mysteries intrigue him and he likes feeling clever when he solves them. His favorite method by which to do so is by using a loophole.

History

Born in a small country town, Robin was raised by his aunt and uncle along with his significantly older sister Marian. She was well-known in the town and so most of his neighbors recognized and looked out for him. He was allowed to roam where he liked and so he spent his time in the forests and wild places, learning about magic and nature and the old ways of doing things. Because his family, and the town in general, is a bit isolated, he doesn't know how the supernatural is perceived elsewhere and assumes it's the same. When he was young he made a contract with a god and so has a little authority among spirits, although he doesn't know that either.

Appearance

Robin has ears he hasn't grown into yet. His hair was supposed to be a standard boy haircut but it didn't cooperate so it's just everywhere. He only really wears T-shirts and shorts, unless it's cold enough that he has to wear a sweatshirt. He has many scrapes but he doesn't remember where they're from. He plays outside a lot. He'll refuse to get a haircut unless it's in his eyes so it can get real floppy. He defaults to a solemn expression but if you talk to him he'll look all bright and happy. He's not sad that's just his face.
