ichigo’s quirk allows him to create items from his body fat the way his sister can. however, unlike momo, he does not have any control over what item he creates. he can actively create something, though, but more often than not, he begins creating things when nervous, and sometimes he will have no control over it. the item he creates is at random, but it is always something convenient to his situation, whether he knows why or not.

his quirk burns fat, so a high amount of energy is needed for it to work. like momo, he emits a red light when he creates objects.

he only things he can actually create on his own are swords and russian dolls, from years and years of practice.

equipment

outfit: ichigo's hero outfit is built to show off as much skin as he can without being too crude, as he needs exposed skin for his quirk to work. he wears a short vest, and a small pair of shorts. he has a pair of red shoes in honor of his sister.

the yaoyorello: a vest with a zipper down the front, allowing him to expose his chest to give more skin. the vest has several zippers on it, but all but the main one are for fashion.

the yaoyorictionary: a large encyclopedia listing multiple different types of materials and constructs that momo and ichigo can reference for use. it has magnets attached to the cover and inside pages so that it doesn't accidentally open or fall. momo gifted a copy to her brother.

abilities

flexibility: despite being a bit overweight, ichigo is rather flexible, and often uses that to his advantage during battle, as he is surprisingly agile when it comes to moving around.

high intellect: ichigo has S rank intelligence, making him a genius, along with momo. he has to be able to understand the item fairly well in order to make it.

musical talent: because of his etiquette training, ichigo is very talented on the piano and violin, though he prefers the violin.

family background: the yaoyorozu family is quite rich, and despite him being “the trouble child,” ichigo’s mother and sister love him very much. his mother is very supportive of him and his sister.
schooling: ketsubutsu academy high school, transfers to UA after the spring semester of his second year

general personality: ichigo is friendly and bubbly, but he is rather promiscuous as well. he tries not to be entitled, but he is a bit spoiled. he can be just as bouncy as his sister at times
social standing: he doesn't really care too much about popularity, he just wants good friends to support
philosophy/values: he wants to be a hero to help people, but he’s worried he won’t make it because his quirk relies on luck

quirks and mannerisms: he stress eats, which usually leads to him creating objects out of stress. he bounces his foot a lot.

relationship with momo

ichigo and momo have a very good relationship. they spent a lot of time together before momo moved into the UA dorms. the two are very close, and they are also very close to their mother. he and momo often go shopping together, or relax and watch movies. their favorite thing to do together is bake! they help each other out during their times of need.

anxiety

ichigo struggles with anxiety, and has anxiety attacks often. his anxiety attacks can spawn from many things, but most often his insecurities. during these attacks, he usually makes tiny russian dolls, as they are the item he’s the most familiar with. the most common symptom is that he's unable to breath and he can't stop shaking and crying. normally, having someone else around to comfort him helps, but the most common way for him to get over is to get fresh air and distract himself. he usually will go out to the porch and count cars of a certain color, or the windows on a nearby building.

quirk discovery

as a young boy, ichigo knew his quirk would most likely come from creation, as his mother has a similar quirk. momo developed her quirk at four years old, and ichigo developed his at around five. he began creating little wooden russian dolls, as he understood they were made of wood. he and his sister were educated very early on, as their mother knew their quirks would involve them knowing the composition of the items they would create. the only item he can create on his own willingly are the russian dolls, as he and his sister practiced with them.
