On a rainy season night, Starloz was swimming a little far from his home, collecting seaweed from the bottom of the sea for dinner. The rain started to get stronger until it became a storm, where Starloz started to be taken by the strong waves that came; it didn't take a long time until he was on a beach. Due to the storm, human objects were in the water and one of the garbage bags got stuck to Starloz's tail while he was lying in the sand.

Starting to get short of breath, a human called Reagan ran to him and took him home quickly. After taking out the garbage bag, Reagan put on his glasses and realized Starloz wasn't a costumed human, but a merman about to dry; Reagan put him in his bathtub and gradually they gained each other's trust, a promise to keep Starloz's existence a secret was made. As the stormy days passed, Reagan helped him return to the sea and Starloz promised to visit him whenever possible along with his belongings, so that Reagan could learn about marine life just as Starloz learned about human life.
