PERSONALITY

With such an odd start to her upbringing, Sereia finds that quietly waiting until the "right moment" has always been the safest decision. She was cautiously shy as a young girl and even still until she heard the call from Hydaelyn. Her whole world changed from that point forward. As she had many life changing experiences her personality became more sharp and cynical. Yet still there was a heavy restlessness that would not allow her to stay put nor leave things alone. Whether it be Warrior of Darkness or Warrior of Light, she continues to go along her path at full speed ahead hoping to find some answers---or an absolution.

HISTORY

Left behind (hopefully by accident) by her Ejinn parents, Sereia wandered in the rivers of the Steppe until she happened upon a passing Orben tribe. Being very young she normally kept away from any passing boats but she saw a small hand playing in the water from up above--the hand of a child. Curiosity got the better of her and she surfaced, surprising the other being and causing them to nearly tip from their boat in shock. That child's tribe and family took Sereia in and she finally lived a happy, carefree life.

APPEARANCE

Hair so dark it has hints of blue and purple in it. Eyes the color of the sun and skin tinted from sunbathing near rivers; Sereia has a simple but dark, alluring beauty about her. Her body is lithe and slim from her dancing endeavors, and as such she is rather nimble on her feet with powerful thighs and legs. Small in stature though she may be--indeed, most everyone dwarfs her in size--she packs a punch when said punch is needed.

Trivia

• "Sereia" is Portuguese for mermaid.
• Chocobo is named "Nereida" which means "sea nymph" in Greek.
• A small, sentient jellyfish seems to be rather attached to her. It's name is "Iara."
