Sensaku 仙策
Introduction · · ·
A kitsune with immeasurable power who has become the advisor to several past and current Yokai Lords. They provide insight, thoughts, solutions, among other opinions, to the leader of the yokai realm and often have a hand in making decisions. Their true main role is being the overseer of all of the Kitsune clans scattered about the realms, making sure no fox gets too inflated of an ego to step out of line. They do not directly interfere with infighting but will step in if the clans make their problems everyone else's.
Sensaku is currently the advisor to Lord Akiya, the standing Yokai Lord. Like previous lords they are loyal without question to him yet has more control behind the scenes than even Akiya would probably admit. What Sensaku's true goal is, is currently unknown.

Personality · · ·
Overall stone-faced and stoic, Sensaku is generally someone who is hard to approach. The air of confidence around them can often be misread as arrogance although they don't seem to mind being unapproachable. They are sociable when needed but prefer their own company and to get lost in books and research. Despite being introverted they are convincing and charismatic, skills they perfected over the millenia of being a powerful asset.
Perceptive
Little to nothing goes unnoticed by this deity. They have built themselves around being virtually all-knowing and seek to gain whatever missing or unknown knowledge exists. Hence, why they make an excellent advisor.
Deceitful
Just shy of being a pathological liar, Sensaku has no problem spitting out white lies or complete yet convincing falsehoods to gain information or further their or their lord's agenda. Despite actually valuing truth and even seeking it, they realized early on in their career that honesty yieled very few desirable results.
Pedantic
What at first seems an impressive trait can quickly dissolve into seeming nitpicking. With the vast knowledge that Sensaku holds they have no qualms about correcting every and everyone who mispeaks on subjects, unintentional or otherwise. Depending who they are talking to they have learned to not waste their breath or knowledge on corrections.
Enigmatic
Despite being a well-known figure in history little is known about this deity. Their accomplishments and major roles are known but how they think and act as a person are largely left a mystery except to those they have deemed worthy enough. Often times they have taken a new name and appearance to avoid being perceived.

Once the mentor to the little lord of the Sun clan now looks upon Ume with disappointment and lost potential. While they can applaud his accomplishments they believe much more could have been achieved by him if his focus had not been on his lover and insatiable greed. The prodigy of the Sun clan was once an intricate puzzle to pick apart and study and to an extent, Sensaku feels like they were a failed project.
Rarely have these two crossed paths yet Sensaku knows nearly everything about this supposed inn keeper. They watched Tsugumi's death and rebirth and since have kept a tab on the lesser god, mainly due to Tsugumi's relationship with Ume. Sensaku finds the bird fascinating yet naive and generally has no desire to intefere with his life, at least until Tsugumi joins them in the council ranks.
