Beans is a unicorn who has lived on Pecan's family's farm since he was a foal. He is endlessly patient with children, but he is not forgiving of unskilled riders and unfamiliar handlers. He is smarter than he often lets on, preferring not to be tasked with anything particularly laborious. He will eat nearly anything if you bribe him with fruit afterward, but oats are his favorite. He can give the impression of being stubborn (and he is, at times), but mostly because he will only listen to those that have actually earned his respect. He also likes to wander if not instructed to stay somewhere, and may not return in anything resembling a timely manner.
