Gray (MAINLINE)

History: Gray is a shadow demon, born from unnatural causes, made to be a war weapon. There is a demon kingdom that profits off of the destruction of other civilizations and Gray was a part of being created in order to be a soldier, but was much smaller than his peers/siblings from his circle. His upbringing lacked love and nurturing, being forced to train more in his teenage years. In this emptiness, he was given an opportunity to have time away from everything, by a new mentor. Gray was nowhere near the expectations made for him and nowhere near the same level as his circle, this opportunity better accommodated to his lack of ability and smaller size. His mentor had shown him proper self defense and combat, suited to his own needs. This change created a better life for Gray and he attempted to leave behind his past; however, this created a rivalry between his old mentor and his new mentor. Gray views his mentors as parental figures.

Leading into adulthood (like, at 18), Gray takes up an opportunity in being an executioner, which lead to a slight drift between him and his mentor. His mentor doesn't take well to his decision, but doesn't like forcing Gray into anything. Gray remains in this position as its a more suitable job for him; though, this job is not within his own realm/kingdom and is within another continent from his own. Gray doesn't give consistent or forward answers to why he made these decisions (but implies it is to avoid recalling his traumatic childhood). This new "continent" he has come to is more comparable to hell than his homelands, as he executes the damned (guilty) and his home was a general area which has demons.

Additional:

• He struggles with Borderline Personality Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety. He's often reacting based upon these and tends to fall easily into Psychosis. He takes this out at his job.
• Seafoods are his food of choice, preferring salmon most.
• He is able to shapeshift and travel in the dark as a shadow demon.
• One of his more cherished possessions is his scythe, there isn't anything special about it beyond sentimental value.
• He wears mostly black, but is often in what appears to be black athleticwear with a black oversized bandana around his neck, both minimally decorated with 2 white stripes.
