Moema is a quiet, rather pessimistic 21-yr-old Sawsbuck. Moema became a magical girl when she wished to be believed by the people around her. With her wish granted, Moema became believed by those around her (with exceptions), no matter if she was lying or actually telling the truth.

Moema is often concidered smart by most for how quick-witted she is and how much of a mature air she gives off. Many years of mental training has given her a quick mind and has left her rather adept at problem solving. That aside, Moema is often on the shier side, not often one to be very socially "out there" unless the group in question are all people she feels comfortable being around. She doesn't tend to see the best in herself, quite the opposite actually. She is constantly looking to improve herself by any means nessisary to gain the approval of her family and peers.

She grew up in a rather high-class, rich neighborhood and didn't have a lot of chances to interact with kids around her age. That changed soon after she turned 8, when she met her future best friend, Aisho. From then on, they were practically inseperable, doing everything together. However, not all was well and it didn't really last as Aisho had to move away for a few years for family business in another city. During the time Moema was alone, she got into quite a bit of trouble when she fell in with a "popular" crowd, which got her into pranking. Pranking became something of a guilty pleasure to her, she did it quite often and her pranks got worse the more she did. It grew to the point where even her popular "friends" didn't even want to be around her. She felt like more of an outcast as ever. Aisho finally came home a few years later, but something was wrong. He had no interest in anything anymore, he never wanted to hang out, he even started skipping school. Moema, needing to see what was wrong, went to confront him about his attitude. He told her about how his family was falling apart, how he felt like he was losing control...about how he wanted to give up entirely. Moema was distaught. She went to everyone she knew; her parents (who told her that they'd try to talk to Aisho's parents), Aisho's parents (who gave her a half-hearted response), and even the school (who also said they'd look into it)...but it was all for naught. Moema found out that Aisho passed away three days later, and blamed herself entirely. She thought that no one believed her over Aisho's mental state because of her past lies. She shut herself in for a week, bottling up all her emotions before she finally couldn't anymore and lashed out when alone at the park. Crying and yelling, she made her wish almost immediately after Kyubey showed up.
