The older twin of Sect Leader Jiang known for his rather strong silver tongue and overly unwelcoming nature. A skilled medic around traditional Chinese medicine who doesn't like fooling around. He's strict and carelessness is his least favorite thing.
Package deal, the young Twin Lotuses of Yunmeng are rarely seen separated. Their constant bickering may give the illusion of a hate-love relationship but the trust the Heavens, Hell will rise shall you harm the other.

PERSONALITY
Jianshi is the more reserved twin when it comes to personality. He doesn't like dealing with people outside the sect thus he isn't fond of outsiders and does not hide that fact.
While Qiming loves playing facades and keeping up a face, on the contrary, Jianshi isn't afraid to let out a snarky response if the circumstances allow him. He is sarcastic and rather blunt, even more than his younger brother, and doesn't like showing fake respect. Though to his overly unwelcoming attitude - a lot of people, even those in his own sect, do not like him.
A lot of people let his usual attitude deceive them. Jainshi is a caring person, especially towards his sect, and does everything in his power to help them. He takes his duty as part of the Sect Leader's family seriously, and won't let anything happen to his sect. Thus why, he bites his tongue at times around other sects.
Jianshi is a strict person who doesn't like leaning away from his usual schedule. He is observant and analytical which allows him to read people and situations easily. Though to always being in his younger twin's shadow, Jianshi grew up into a perfectionist and workaholic in order to prove himself. However, he never speaks ill of his brother but rather overly affectionate.
DESIGN
Jianshi is an elegant young man with an almost buttocks long, straight black hair, usually let down with his sides tied behind and supported by a hairpin and hair loop ring with a braid on his left side. His eyes are grey-blue with a lavender tinge. Under his left eye is a beauty mark. His skin is pale ivory with warm undertone.
He wears a more elegant, rather fancy, version of the Jiang Sect uniform. Like his brother - he wears gloves. Traditionally, he has a Jiang clarity bell attached to his waist belt. Jianshi is known for wearing a lot of accessories. The monocle on his right eye being the most prominent one and jade bracelet on his left wrist that has his mother's clarity bell attached to it.

I. Childhood
J
iang Jianshi is the first born twin of the Jiang Sect Leader and Madam Yue. The difference between him and Jiang Qiming being just a few minutes. Despite being older, he was the second option of Jiang Qixu for an heir. The favoritism of their father showed as soon as the boys were old enough to put their boots alone. Jianshi was the more gentle, less ambitious one, who preferred to take a more pacifistic way of handling a situation. Thus he was immediately counted as weak.
That, however, didn't prevent the twins to stay bonded and play together whenever they had the chance. While they were always together, the moment their father entered the room, Jianshi either took his leave or hid behind his brother. The favoritism caused him to spend a lot of time with Madam Yue and Jiang Guixing. The situation got progressively worse once the news for Jiang Guixing's death was announced.
II. Adolescence
A
s the years passed, Jiang Qixu was tons more harsher to his sons. His attitude towards Jianshi was getting worse by the day which lead to his mother to take care of his training. On a following night hunt, Jianshi was a witness of Madam Yue's death which scarred him for life. That night, he threw away the sword and swore to never fight again. He returned home - speechless and scared, locking himself in his room for days.
That event made the twins to start drifting apart; and Jiang Qixu blamed his son for his wife's dead. Jianshi grew up more avoidant and closed in himself even more - not letting even Qiming near. Until the night his brother came to him without saying anything and breaking into tears. He learned later that Jiang Qixu was dead. But he couldn't bring himself to care for the man's death. He never attended the funeral nor visited his grave.
III. Adulthood
T
he day the twins were left all alone in the world, he stood by his brother's side the entire time - no matter what life put them through. He was pointed as a sect advisor later on by his brother. That day he swore to himself to keep his brother and Jiang Sect safe, and not let anyone ruin its reputation ever again.
One day you'll find someone that's obsessed with you. It's probably going to be a dog. But it is what it is.

Many are fooled by their constant bickering. These two would and will murder for each other. Both put the other's safety and happiness before their own. Qiming is his most trusted and precious person despite looking quite done with his dilemmas most of the time. His brother is his priority, and that's that.

When they were kids, they would play together a lot. Unfortunately, Zhu Ling was taken away and the twins never heard from him again. As they reunite years later, Jiang Jianshikeeps an eagle watch over the younger lad.

Jiang Qixu and Jianshi never had a good relationship. With the knack of separating the twins by favoritism, Qixu always preferred Jiang Qiming over him. This caused Jianshi to not have any emotional connection to his father thus he wasn't that heart broken when he died.

Jianshi always had a close relationship with their mother. She was the person he looked up the most and one of the few people who loved him unconditionally. Her death made him focus on medical cultivation in order to keep everyone in his sect alive and healthy

- Jianshi isn't the most powerful cultivator but he can make any object a lethal weapon when mad.
- He has a tragic love life tho to everyone he ever had a crush on using him to get closer to his brother.
- He's black listed by the women in Yunmeng and in the cultivational world.
- Jianshi often makes hand made stuff for his brother. A lot of the twins' accessories are hand made by him. Even the hairpin Qiming wears.
- Jianshi refers to Qiming as "brother" in public and vice versa for the entire sake of confusing people.
