It's clear this Ink Dweller has never been 'normal'
His Angelic ascension appears to have been tied with the scar crossing his body, which he shows off with the burnt sleeve, seemingly something he's custom done, he'd not just go running around in the same outfit after all this time, would he?

It is not shared how he and Station Master could be related, the two are incredibly close to each other though
From the seems of it, whatever Station Master is doing, the Conductor is part of it

Design notes:
-Hat completely optional
-Glasses are reading glasses, most often used to check tickets and travel documentation
-Tail tip has a kink, it should always have that curve after the tank
