Saturnine

Though their intial meeting was. . .less than ideal, it doesn't take long for Saturnine to feel a deep connection with Astarion. Of course, Saturnine's naivety causes her to fall for all of the pretty words in his arsenal, despite it being nothing more than manipulation at the time. Through their traveling, the two become rather quickly bonded, sharing in mutual snarkiness and eventually feeling comfortable enough to begin opening up to one another. Saturnine finds Astarion to be a deeply complicated and untrusting individual and does her best to show him that she has his back and that she supports him in his journey. In turn, Astarion begins to see, for the first time, that perhaps not everyone in this world is quite as awful as he intially thought.

Instantly upon meeting, both tieflings were ecstatic to have one another as a traveling partner. Though sparing Karlach would forsee some challenges, both Saturnine and Karlach become close very quickly, bonding over their shared optimism and playful nature. Karlach finds herself very protective over her friends, especially Saturnine. The pair often find themselves spacing out during more serious moments, much to the annoyance of the others and spend a lot of their free time in camp together, playing games or telling stupid jokes. Saturnine vows to help her friend fix her infernal engine, no matter the cost.
