To say that Vaena had an interesting life would be an understatement. Raised by dwarves after a plague claimed her village and family, the little half-elf has always felt a sense of wanderlust; a need to explore driven by the feeling of not belonging. Despite her unfortunate childhood she never grew resentful. Vaena is kind and gentle to all she meets, patient and curious to new customs and habits, with a strong desire to help those in need. It was only obvious for Vaena to seek out a career as a healer. A doctor with a mission: to cure the plague that haunted the lands. With the help of friends and guides she grew from a scared child into a capable doctor.

Vaena is not known for sitting still. She is always on the move, her boundless energy focused and well-spent. She never seeks out idle pleasure when things are to be done. Even after curing the plague she didn't take a break. Credit passed her by as she head out to find other diseases to deal with, other sick to nurse back to health. Vaena may have taken up a position as a professor of healing and pathology but that doesn't mean she doesn't continue to travel and learn, taking students along with her if it fits. In the end, Vaena only wishes for one thing: to make the world a better place.
