Paul is a human from our world that fell into a portal to Canterlot made by a student of the School for Gifted Unicorns in Canterlot. He is very upset being a pony, and misses having opposable thumbs, but is relieved he doesn't have to wear clothing. He is living with Honeyclover in his tiny rented apartment, being a bum and unemployed.
In his past life, he had a wife he divorced and three children, who he used to see on holidays ONLY. He lived in New Jersey and worked at an accounting firm managing the finance department where he tried to commit embezzlement, but failed and got arrested.
