The bargain bin Magical girl

I havent given her an ACTUAL name yet.

The bargain bin magical girl is a special case. Ill name her bargain for now.  Obsessed with magical girls from a young age she was the kid to always run around posing and screaming special attacks at recess.  One day while she was running late and missing a movie about magical girls she took a shortcut and wound up by sheer coincidence witnessing a true magical girl fight. even more amazing? the magical girl decided "Fck this i quit" and abandoned her magical wand in the trash. Bargain picked up the wand and found that she could use it! so the bargain bin magical girl was born! Bargain does not have any true power of her own, but has learned to identify magical artifacts and has picked up quite an arsenal from yardsales, estate sales, thrift shops, and dumpster diving. She dresses in cutsey clothing and uses a variety of hair dyes (and sometimes very bad quality wigs) but has no actual ability to transform.  she however isn't aware that just because one can use magical artifacts that doesn't mean THEY themselves have any magical ability. non the less she has become part of the magical girl lifestyle and has become quite friendly with a number of magical girls. essentially she has become an honorary magical girl. 

Becoming a magical girl by association, bargain goes through allot of growth. originally only obsessed with magical girls as a fanatic, she almost gave up many times as the times got tough and "it wasn't fun anymore" but she comes to realize that Being a Magical girl isnt all fun and games and rainbows and butterflies unlike the foreign animations she watches.  she is originally horrified to learn that she doesn't even truly have magic and that realization again makes her step away and try and forget all she has come to learn. but eventually Bargain comes to terms with herself and decides "Even if i dont have any abilities i cant just stand back and watch!!!" so from then on Bargin steps forward with a new confidence and fights alongside true magical girls giving it her all!

This character is inspired by a makeshift costume i put together not so long ago when visiting a convention.
