Prokaryo

Prokaryo is a spacefaring slime-monster with an affinity for the more dangerous and sketchy sides of the universe. the sole operator of a small-scale transport ship, he makes a living escorting people through dangerous planets and terrains, he is frequently hired by treasure hunters seeking to gut out inhospitable planets for their resources or find potential valuables. Other's reliance on him in his work has made him a bit cocky 

Outside of his work his interests are tabletop games, micro-robotics and raising his pet salamanders. 

Prokaryo likes the "simple" aesthetic of humankind, so he has chosen to present as a humanoid being  rather than the bio-clumps of gel plasmodians often resemble

about his species..

Native to a planet with little-to-no gravity and not possessing any internal structure. Plasmodians can change the shape, consistency and colour of their open-celled forms. meaning that Prokaryo can survive in nearly any atmosphere by altering his body down to a cellular level. Giving him a far wider access to the galaxy than the average organism. However, these altered forms can only be maintained for a certain amount of time before they become exhausted and thus must retreat back to their far weaker 'default' form until enough energy is absorbed from their surroundings for them to transform again.
