About: From a young age, Valedon has had the weight of much placed upon his shoulders. His family name, taking care of his younger brother, inheriting a city, learning to be a proper ruler, and even more beyond that. When he was only six, he had to kill his step-father in order to protect himself from the man's rage. He would return home, beaten, bloodied, and forever different from the carefree young boy he once was. The change would hit even harder when his mother passed a few months later while giving birth to his brother, leaving him the caretaker of a young boy and inheritor to a city he had no capability yet to rule. Fortunately, the council would take over for the time being, and they would mentor him. While the maids were of course in charge of raising and teaching his younger brother, sometimes he proved to be much more than they could handle and Valedon inevitably would have to step in, easily becoming the primary role-model for his younger brother. This included one additional factor, the family's hereditary lightning powers. While "cool", if not wielded properly, the ability became a fire-hazard very fast, and between both boys learning how to control the ability, there was sure to be chaos.
None of this made growing up any easier. Having to stop consistently stop his brother from reckless acts, while at the same time having a group of politicians hound him at every instance with the thought of having to take over an entire city while he was only barely a teen was an immense amount of pressure. The constant keeping busy would cost him a lot of his free time, and unfortunately, he quickly started developing the need to almost always be busy with something. While most regarded his brother as a reckless fool, he would actually be Valedon's saving grace from overworking himself. Whenever he got the opportunity he would drag him away with him, taking him out of the city limits to have fun where he wasn't needed. He would check on him when need be and knew how to spot if something was ever wrong. In return, Valedon kept his brother in line, and was one of the few people that could keep his brother from willingly doing dumb things. They knew that if nothing else, they could rely on one another.
Within the next several years, with the support of the council and his brother, Valedon would step into his role as lord of the city of Nalla, and it would most certainly keep him busy. He would excel in his role and the city would prosper under his rule, expanding in both population and size. This again, would come at the cost of his free time, but in his opinion, that was a gift. He doesn't really know how to relax on his own terms, and rarely can be caught doing so when he does have nothing else to do.
