He doesn't mean to, his face just makes other cats scared.
His leaning over them doesn't help.
His cheerful attitude and puzzle-solving is what made him deputy initially,
and accidentally inherited the leader role. Or so is said by other groups.
Dust"Star is an ""unofficial"" leader by clan standards,
not receiving nine lives or anything.
The other cats in the ring like just calling him just 'Dust' affectionately.
Dust"Star likes gathering rocks and digging, his leader den is just a giant hole in the ground.
