Thon

 Thon wears their goggles for both the aesthetic of it, and because they're actually helpful. They're an airship pilot, specifically one who tests airships before they go out to the public. This tends to be a bit of a risky job, and they've found that if they don't wear goggles, their eyes are going to get shredded by the air wooshing past and the occasional loose nail. Whoops. At least they also look cool.
