Personality

Frankie Whitby is an excitable Ravenclaw who yearns to learn more. Although she excels at a lot of the classes at Hogwarts, her favorite class and the one she has the most proficiency in is the History of Magic but when it comes to Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts she has difficulty casting the spells much to her own dismay. She likes to keep herself active doing all sorts of activities and participating in as many events that occur in Hogwarts. Frankie only has a handful of friends that are from Ravenclaw despite being the house she was placed in. Outside of classes Frankie's favorite way to pass the time is visiting Hogsmeade and taking sketches of the area and all of it's locales.

Backstory

YEAR 1
Not able to take his eyes off the window in the Hogwarts Express, Victor was excited as it would be his first day at Hogwarts and he intended to make the best of his stay during it. He saw many students across the train and a lot of gossip over some students that would be joining that year along with others already making friends with each other and having conversations in their own sections of the train. Not really paying much attention to the others sitting near him and mostly pumped up that he's finally able to learn how to cast spells on his own or getting his own wand and such. Everyone soon began putting on their robes as the train was about to reach it's destination and when the train arrived everyone began getting off immedtiately.

Walking out of the train he gazed in awe at the town surrounding him full of life and tons of people walking around students and adults alike. Soon he went to get his books for his classes and all of his other materials he would need at Hogwarts and last but not least he went to get his wand. Kids around his age walked out of the shop, Victor looked up and saw the name Ollivanders knowing that's where he had to go. Walking in a nice older looking man greeted him "Looking for a wand like everyone else?" the man smiled "Yes sir! It's my first day at here and I'm really excited to get my first wand!" he smiled widely then the man began to examine him "Alright I think I got just the one dear boy." he said as he walked towards the shelves behind him to look for a box. Shuffling through them he had found a small box and gave it to him "I think this one will certainly fit you like a glove, here give it a twirl." the man said as he took a wand out of the box and gave it to the boy standing in front of him. Victor spun the wand around and it threw off a few sparkles and soon the man smile "That's it. A wand carved by Sycamore hold together by a Unicorn Hair core rather large at 14 inches and just a Slightly Yielding flexibility. You may keep the wand young man clearly it is meant for you!" the man smiled "Thank you! You've been a great help!" they said their farewells and Victor headed off as more children walked in the store.

Eventually the students began heading towards some small boats through the Black Lake making their way at Hogwarts. Arriving they all began heading inside the large castle and being taken towards a large hall with even more students that have been there earlier or were already in their other years. Many of the other students chatted with one another although as an unspoken rule barely any of the new students decided to befriend the older ones. And after a while a man stood at the front and began to talk one which he already knew very clearly to be Dumbledore the headmaster of the school. Soon after he finished his speech the sorting ceremony began "Ah this is so exciting! Can you believe this is actually happening?" a boy around his age standing next to him said looking at him looking like he didn't have any success making friends at the express like him. He looked at him a bit surprised anyone was trying to talk to him at all before he even got sorted somewhere. He looked at the boy trying to examine his features, he had short black hair barely reaching under his neck and oddly soft looking face like that of a baby with a pair of dark brown eyes. The boy seemed quite short only barely reaching his height "Yes absolutely! I can't wait to get sorted into a house and learn all sorts of stuff!" he said smiling back at him. "Oh how rude of me. My name's Frankie! Frankie Whitby!" he said extending his arm towards him "Oh nearly forgot myself, mine's Victor Roman. Really nice to talk to someone since everyone already seems to have made their friends choices by now!" he said as he looked around at others talking while the ceremony was happening.

"It sure seems that way." the boy said with a small frown on his face, they both began looking back at the student getting sorted into their new houses until one of the names spoken seemed to have stirred the air amongst them "Harry Potter." the young boy walked to the front and sat under the chair. "This is unreal! So he is joining this year!" Frankie said amazed at what was happening "This is like a fairy tale, I didn't think he was real or even going to this school!" Victor said just as surprised as most of the students there. "I know right!" said Frankie, after a few seconds the Sorting Hat called out Gryffindor confirming his houses followed by cheers everywhere. Time passed and soon Frankie was called out go to the sorting "Oh it's me! I'll see you around Victor!" he said waving and eagerly walking towards the Sorting Hat. The Professor next her placed the hat on his head and the hat began to talk "Ah a clever one this is, creative too. You have a lot of potential bottled up in you, the only house that compliments you is quite obvious." the hat said with a low voice "Ravenclaw!" it shouted out as clapping and cheering from the Ravenclaw houses was let out. He squealed happily and make his way to the other Ravenclaws.

Victor clapped along with the rest of the students seeing one of his potential friends get chosen to be in such a great house like Ravenclaw soon the Professor called his name out and he make his way to the chair sitting down on it as she placed the hat onto his head. "Oh what's this a thirst for adventure and the ability to back it up but rivaled by a sense of compassion and care. I've seen some of your lineage before and I know just the house to put you in, Gryffindor would benefit greatly by your skills but there's another house that would want a set traits like yours." the hat whispered as it talked "Hufflepuff!" it shouted out and soon clapping began from the students as Victor made his way to the other Hufflepuffs and sat down with them. The feast soon began and everyone began chowing down on their food cheerfully, looking at the food around him he didn't know what to pick since there was so many varieties in front of him "Fries, Chicken, Pork, Fish, Cake. What doesn't this place have?" he said amazed eventually just grabbing a piece of everything that was there and began eating it like everyone else. When all was done they all headed towards the dormitories learning the way to get there and what to do once there, everything they owned was already place onto their rooms and most of them had decided to go to sleep since it had been quite a long day for them. Victor just laid on the bed trying to contain all his excitement but sorta missed his family "This is Hogwarts huh..? Wonder what sorts of amazing things I'll do in my time here." he thought to himself as he wrapped himself with the blanket and soon fell to sleep like the rest.

YEAR 4
It was around winter and the Triwizard Tournament was on everyone's mind, that was until the Yule Ball was announced and most of the 4th years began  worrying about the activity. Some had already decided not to go while others started trying hard to find a partner to go with and a few had already managed to get the courage to ask their date out although some weren't lucky. Victor didn't seem to be trying to find someone although he did seem to be a bit curious about the Yule Ball as it was rumored there would be Weird Sisters would be playing there. He tried to think what would he be able to wear if he did went but he wasn't as prepared for something like that as he would've liked and only had a few rags and casual clothing along with his uniform inside of his drawers. He eventually made his way out towards the Great Hall and began eating a sandwich and soon was joined by a short haired girl with black hair "Oh, hey Frankie!"  he said with his mouth full "You need to swallow before you talk you know." she said smiling almost about to laugh. Victor nodded and swallowed down the food he had in his mouth "So how's it hanging!" he said cheerfully "Same old same old, think Professor Snape has it out for me sometimes whenever I'm in the Potions Classroom." she said scratching her head. "I assumed he had it out for everyone considering he doesn't tend to pick favorites unless you count some of the few lucky Slytherins. But who am I to guess!" he replied. "True enough." she smiled and soon began eating alongside him waiting for it to be time to take the first class of the day. "I've been meaning to ask you something." Frankie said with a much more serious look on her face, Victor looked up at her confused "Ok? shoot." he replied "Well you see I wanted to know if." before she could finished McGonagall had began shouting for the students to get to their classrooms.

"Looks like time's up for now, you can tell me later! Don't want to be late after all!" he smiled and began to head out, she opened her mouth and tried to tell him something but before she could he had already sprinted off towards his class. "Right..." She sat there with a slight frown due to the timing of the teacher's arrival but began making her way to her own classroom. Back to Victor he ran in the halls and soon made it to his Flying Class and saw Madam Hooch only just arriving and her back facing him, he sighed in relied and tried to blend in with the rest of the students. "So you pile of Puffskeins! Who's ready to show what they got in the broom!" Hooch said with a stern look on her face. The class began and everyone soon began working on their broom skills, many of them began shouting at the broom to go up at their hand while others got it quickly others managed to fail despite all the time they've been taking that class. They practice their abilities up in the air and most manage to keep their balance while others were struggling, after that Hooch had ordered them to do one of the harder parts of riding a broom which was standing on it without falling to the ground "Remember, only a few students actually manage to fall off their brooms per year so this should be easy for all of you." she said. Victor struggled to do so and slipped but before he hit the ground he managed to grab the broom and prevent the fall. He sighed in relief and mounted the broom yet again, soon the class ended and everyone began walking out to their first break. Victor made his way to the Courtyard like he would usually do after his first class and to his surprise Frankie was sitting in his usual spot instead of being in the library like she normally would. Not bothered by it and enjoying the company he sat down next to her under the shade "Hello again Frankie!" he said smiling widely and she smiled greeting him "Something wrong? You're usually studying at the library at this hour." he asked "No no it's not that!" she quickly replied "You see I uh wanted to ask you something but wasn't able to do so earlier."

"Oh yeah you did say something about that earlier before McGonagall came by and told everyone to go back to their classrooms!" he said scratching his head remembering what had happened. "Yeah that was... bothersome." she sighed "Well don't keep me hanging what is it you wanted to say!" he asked curiously. "Well I wanted to know if you." yet again she got cut off as a students in the Courtyard shouted "Will you go to the Yule Ball with me!" the noise came from fountain and they both looked to see a Hufflepuff lad from their 4th year asking out a 6th year Slytherin girl out. The Slytherin girl crossed her arms and frowned down at him "Sorry but I won't go down in Slytherin history as the first girl to have gone out with a Hufflepuff." the boy was heartbroken and soon some of his fellow Hufflepuffs came to his aid and comforted him taking him away. "Would hate to be Thomas right about now." Victor said seeing one of his Hufflepuffs get rejected in front of him "Wait you know him?" Frankie said confused "Oh yeah for sure, it's a little hard to not know someone I see constantly!" he smiled again not too phased by what had happened there. "Anyways as I was saying." she mumbled but like last time a teacher had walked about and alerted the students to get to their classes. "Eesh time passes by when you're having fun! Looks like I'll see you later at the library!" Victor said as he stood and then helped her up "Oh right, I'll see you later then." Victor walked off and Frankie slowly made her way to her next class a bit down at how her day was going.

Victor made his way to his Herbology Class but a bit disappointed as he was rather bad at it, as he entered he saw the head of his House Professor Sprout who was waiting happily for all her students to arrive, unlike his other classes this one was the one where most Hufflepuffs would be taking the class at the same time which made him feel a bit more relieved. He stood next to some of the Hufflepuffs that slept in his dorms and they both eagerly began conversing with him. "So! have you found someone to take to the Yule Ball?" said one of the boys wearing a pair of glasses with several lenses sticking out. "No luck, don't know why everyone's so hung up about it I mean it's just a dance isn't it?" he asked a bit confused "Well when you put it that way of course it sounds less interesting. Me and Khari find it more exciting since it's our first year we'll be able to go!" he pointed at the kid standing next to him with darker skin and very messy hair "Clement is right, it's no every day they do activities like these and the plus side is we'll be able to get a chance to spend a night without worrying about school work." Khari smiled. "I guess you're right I should try taking this a little more serious, have either of you found someone to take by the way?" he asked the duo and both smiled nervously and began fiddling around "Thought so." he smiled and the two began laughing. Soon the class ended and they went their own ways, Victor walked to the Library to talk to Frankie as they usually would at that time of day.

Arriving he saw Frankie writing down on some papers although a bit on the further part of the library "Snape?" he asked as he sat down next to her "Snape." she replied as she stopped writing. "Victor, I really need to tell you something but everything keeps getting in my way today for some odd universal reason. While normally I wouldn't mind it has gotten be a biiit annoyed." she said with a slight frown on her face. "Okay? Well third time's the charm so give it a go after all we still have Charms together so you can tell me then if you fail this time!" he smiled at her "Well it's now or never, Victor you're the first person I've met here since everyone shrugged me off and didn't bother talking to me on my first day at Hogwarts and it's been 3 years now nearing out 4th and I just wanted to ask if you would please go to the Yule Ball with me!" she said quickly trying not to let anything take the moment away from her. "What!" he exclaimed loudly in surprise "Shhh!" Madam Pince said from her desk. "I mean what." he said lower this time "You don't have too I was just curious and may have forgotten to ask if you were going with someone and." like the rest of her day she got cut off but by Victor "No it's alright! I would love to go with you, I don't know how I didn't cross my mind to go with you since you're a girl and all. Although I assumed I would be the one asking someone out not the other way around so you got me a bit off guard there!" he said cheerfully.

"Oh thank you I was a bit worried there!" she said still a bit shaky "I already got a dress for the occasion that belonged to my grandma!" she said happily but trying to hold back her excitement just a tad bit. "Well I'm not sure about myself but glad to see you all excited for this!" he said before the conversation went any further Madam Pince walked by and told them the break was over and for them to go to their next class. They both headed to Charms and sat near each other paying attention to Professor Flitwick. They both chatted with each other during most of the class and barely payed attention to the class in general as they both were already quite good at the current spells being practiced that day. Before they realized it class was over and they went to eat at the Great Hall together and chatted some more. A few days had passed and the day of the Yule Ball had arrived, Victor had received a rather odd outfit his mother had sent via Owl that she had picked for him. He began putting it on in his dormitory along with the other 4 Hufflepuffs that were in the room "I can't believe I'm finally able to wear this!" said Clement wearing a flamboyant looking tuxedo "I can't believe you're wearing that." said Khari. "I'm sure everyone's looking alright and you'll both impress everyone out there!" Victor smiled "Speak for yourself at least you look good in that, I look like a mouse choking on cheese." Khari sighed and as soon as everyone go their outfits in check they went out to look for their partners to the ball.

Victor went towards the Ravenclaw's common room to wait outside for Frankie. Soon she walked out wearing a dark blue dress covered in flowers markings, her hair was a bit more kept than how it usually looked and she was wearing a ribbon that matched her outfit. He couldn't help himself but to stare as he never really seen her looking like an actual girl before much less with a dress and makeup "Is it that bad? Admit it it's horrible!" she panicked a little "Oh no! You look amazing I just couldn't stop staring at how awesome you look today!" he said smiling and not able to take his eyes off of her. "Dummy you should've said that first instead of making me assume otherwise." she smiled awkwardly and they both began heading towards the event. The place was full of students all dressed up and looking their best "This place looks wonderful! I simply love what they've done here and the aesthetic!" Frankie said at an awe at the appearance. "I know right!? I never seen a room so fancy!" Victor added, they both walked to the rest of the students and waited for the Triwizard Tournament champions to appear and when they did they both stared in at them amazed at how well they looked. The champions began dancing and soon more and more students joined in, "I'm not entirely sure how this works but do you want to dance?" Victor asked "Yes of course!" Frankie quickly replied and dragged him to the dance floor. They placed their hands onto each other like they saw everyone else doing and both began to dance a little stupidly since neither completely knew how to dance but they made the best of it. They both laughed and pointed each other's dancing mistakes as they kept dancing to the calm music.

Frankie looked down "Ah this is too cool to be true." she sighed "You mean the Yule Ball or our dancing skills?" he asked and she giggled. "No I mean us here, together you know?" she said in a low voice "I don't think I follow?" he said a bit confused. "Victor I... how do I put this..." she now said struggling to get out the right words. Victor looked down at her a bit worried "You aren't going to tell me you're dying or something are you cause that'd be the absolute worst thing I need in my life!" he said panicked. "No no it's not that it's just... I think I... I think I like you." she said and Victor seemed even more confused "Huh okay? I like you too you know you're my friend after all!" he smiled and Frankie looked at him a bit confused "No I mean like... I L O V E you." she said to him with a slightly awkward smile "L O V E?" he said and then began connecting the words in his head trying to figure out what they meant "Love? Oh love! How could I not realize! Stupid Victor stupid Victor!" he said shaking his head from side to side realizing how dumb he must've looked "So uh... what do you think..?" she asked nervously "Hmmm, well... you have been nice to me for as long as I can remember during my time at Hogwarts and you're basically my best friend. And I guess I like spending my time with you more than anyone else? I think I love you too we've been together this far right?" Victor replied and Frankie began internally screaming and not able to let out a word so they just kept dancing for a bit more without exchanging words. Frankie managed to get back her state of mind and stared at him, a bit confused himself he looked at her too however blushing a little as he slowly realized what was happening that night with the two of them. Victor took a deep breath and decided to man up to the situation and try not to make it too bad, they began leaning their faces together and closed their eyes. They stopped dancing now and both their lips pressed against the other, Victor lowered his hand and grabbed both of hers as Frankie got lost in her thoughts and unconciously lifted her leg as the night had gone better than anything she would've wanted.
