Áine is the Queen of Elfame, born into her position roughly 780 years ago. She witnessed and gave order to retreat to Elfame and close off entry to the Fae years back in order to protect them from the rampant hunting and enslavement of Fae being caught by humans.

She is considered the strongest Paladin, as she has taken the ultimate Oath to serve her people and protect the Great Tree Bethadh, with which she alone can communicate with in an ethereal way. As such, she is considered partnered to the tree and will never take on another partner until she dies, with only having chosen volunteers used to help choose an heir.

In personality, Áine is a soft and calm person. She speaks gently to everyone, but this does not make her resolve waiver when it comes to her duties. She is loved by her people, seen as a compassionate and confident realiable Queen. In private, she has a jokester side and likes to have a good laugh, usually via teasing those around her. She loves making others flustered, and is quick to see through their facades to either give adivce or have a little fun.
