Dia's high school freshman stepsister, a ditzy but undeniably cool girl who has secretly impressed even that cold brother of hers with her music. She has been selectively mute since the death of her mother. Emese and her father are first generation Hungarian immigrants, and Emese was initially harshly ostracized for her odd tics and insufficient grasp on English, so she took up playing the guitar in order to gain a party trick and ended up falling in love with the sound of metal. Though she antagonizes Dia, she is secretly protective of her brother's reputation and there have been instances of her shutting down nasty comments about his appearance and motoric. While her swirly eyes are a stylized choice, Emese's teeth truly are extremely sharp.
