Snake is a sensible and secluded reaper prince, though certain circumstances bring about a himedere personality in him. He spent his days as a hikikomori before chancing upon Spider, a human with a cursed shackle awaiting a death sentence. On a whim, Snake spared Spider and uses him as a kept man for entertainment and to fulfill his misions in his stead. While Spider's mind is constantly on gambling and sex ever since arriving to the Monster Kingdom, Snake's feet are firmly planted on the ground and he goes along with Spider's whims just to indulge himself before he is forced to become a boring, stuffy monarch. However, that isn't to say he doesn't enjoy Spider's company. He just won't admit it outright.
