Osha doesn’t like to be shiny because he’d been told he was special and admired since he was born simply because his colors are different. He doesn’t want to be noticed for his strange coloring but for the way he is personality wise, which drives him to avoid fighting and try to make as many friends as possible. If someone were to offer him a wish, he’d always ask to be changed so he’d be the normal colors of an oshawott instead.

The reason his name is Osha is because his older brother (A Dewott) settled on Dew as a personal name with the full word "dewdrop" in mind, but Osha thought it was just for simplicity sake, so he followed his lead.

as for his half evolved form, he was trying to protect someone dear to him while half an everstone was hidden in his bow, causing it to trap him in this new half state unable to evolve again.
