Raised heavily Christian fundamentalist Mormon, she did all she could do to escape one life of pain and entered into a different one....

Gothika was raised as Truleigh Saint Marie Faith in Utah by an aspiring family blogger mom. She was featured heavily on their ‘putting family first’ blog (known as Faithful Family) as the second oldest child of a family of eight siblings. Every moment of her life, embarrassing or otherwise, was blogged live to a family.

She was desperate to get out and willing to do anything. Unfortunately, she was the perfect type of person to be picked up by Project Supergirl; a company looking to make her dreams come true. Well, and theirs. She underwent a painful scientific process to give her magical powers. She came out the other side a changed person - but alive, and completely new.

She faked her death and ran away onto the other side of the country to start a new life as ‘Gothika’, a heavy metal musician and magical girl influencer. She traded one camera in her face for another - but at least she gets a bit more personal privacy. All the girls in her ‘generation’ were sent to various hero schools across the country; she was given Embercroft.
