Logan

Logan is a quiet guy who prefers to be away from the spotlight. He doesn’t have many friends, but he’s fairly close to the ones he does keep; he’s quite awkward around new people, though. Logan did his graduate studies in the Sinnoh region, under the supervision of Professor Rowan. It was there that he first began training a Pokemon: Mutasttir, a Murkrow! He traveled around the region doing field studies on wild Pokemon and how they evolve in wild environments. While he was in Sinnoh, though, the activity of Team Galactic notably ramped up, and Logan found himself pitted against them several times. This culminated in Logan infiltrating their base and freeing the lake spirits, who urged him to ascend Mt. Coronet and stop Cyrus from trying to remake the world. He didn’t manage to do so–but Giratina did, and he took Cyrus and Logan to the Distortion World, along with the lake spirits. After once again freeing the spirits, Logan managed to bargain for his and Mutasttir’s freedom, and Giratina released them, though he still held special interest in Logan. This interest came in handy years down the line, when Logan was married and had a young son. He was working in a different region now, under a different Pokemon professor–and while he didn’t do as much field work in this position, he still enjoyed exploring the region and hiking. One day, while he was climbing a rough mountain path, a strange, dripping shadow confronted him and Mutasttir. It was ruinously powerful, and Logan knew Mutasttir would be no match–so he urged his Honchkrow to get away just as the shadow consumed him. The shadow would have destroyed his whole being, body and mind alike, but Giratina was watching, and he was able to exert some of his power to shelter Logan’s essence and draw it back to the distortion world. Now Logan serves as Giratina’s one and only human companion/servant/whatever the hell. He can’t leave the distortion world now that he’s there–but that doesn’t mean he can’t influence the real world in his own ways… Logan has burn scars on both of his hands from freeing the lake spirits in the distortion world–they’d gotten tangled in the red chains Cyrus created, and trying to free them caused those burns.
