Stormeagle

Stormeagle is stern, but kind. As the one responsible for most of the day-to-day operations of the preserve where he lives, there’s a lot on his plate, and Stormeagle cares deeply about each and every Pokemon who is under his care. Despite the sheer number of them, Stormeagle knows everyone’s names and at least a little bit about most of them. Leaf follows him around constantly, so he knows her fairly well. He’s trying to encourage her to consider helping run the preserve once she grows older, which is a large part of why he doesn’t mind her constant badgering. He can be dismissive of his own needs, though, often getting less sleep than he probably should, and sometimes throwing himself into situations that could have been handled better by others. He wants to solve everything! This impulse has mellowed out a lot as he’s gotten older, luckily, but the tendency still exists. For the most part, Stormeagle uses his impulses for good, helping out Pokemon in need and welcoming new refugees to the preserve. He’s lived a long life, and it pleases him to see how well the place he’s watched over for nearly as long as he remembers is doing. He’s also the Pokemon who’s currently closest to the true caretaker of the preserve; she raised him from hatching and encouraged him to become an overseer of the preserve. He considers her one of the wisest people he knows and is deeply respectful of her.
