Sariel

Sariel represents the last of the earth’s power, given form to end the dragon’s reign of terror once and for all. They are keenly aware of their duty to the earth and her people and forever indebted to the earth for giving them life. Although they are very knowledgeable about and empathetic towards the earth’s races as a whole, they aren’t great at recognizing the needs of individuals–including themselves. This can cause them to be blindsided by certain actions the people around them take, because Sariel assumes that everyone is working to better the lives of their race as a whole, not necessarily just of themselves. He’s kind of extremely naive, but in Sariel’s defense, he was only born like ten minutes ago. When the earth’s champions traveled to her heart, they found her in the process of forming Sariel out of the last vestiges of her power. They carry with them knowledge of how to arrive at the dragon’s lair, power that gives the champions around them additional strength, resistance, and courage, and general knowledge about the races and their champions specifically. Once Sariel was fully formed and the champions had arrived, the earth introduced them and gave the champions their assignment in full. They would work together to create the means to travel to the upper reaches, and once there, they would kill the dragon. The group had a long ways to go before they were ready, but with Sariel to guide them, odds were looking good. Together, they returned to the surface to prepare.
