Mystis

Mystis (Μυστις) - the goddess-nymph of the initiation rites of the Bacchic orgies. She was a nymph of the island of Euboia, who was entrusted with the care of an infant Dionysus. She is also mother to the demi-god of the ivy-berries and wreaths.
