Hestia tends to present herself as carefree and bubbly, often very talkative and can be considered clingy to some people. however deep down she does carry a lot of trauma and problems, but plays them off as jokes or "it's nothing to worry about." she doesn't want to burden those around her, out of a fear of being abandoned or ignored. due to her bottling up her emotions frequently, she has developed very unhealthy coping mechanisms such as drinking copious amounts of alcohol, smoking, drugs, and having frequent one night stands with a variety of men. this is all to distract herself from her self hatred and low self esteem. she values her body over herself, thinking that her worth is through providing in bed. she can never stay with one person or seem to stay in one spot either, most likely due to these unease and sense of anxiety. she has a habit of detaching from people, thinking that they want her gone in their life or that she holds no value. due to that, she often will disappear for days to weeks without notice, which tends to freak out her boyfriend and her best friend. she has major trust issues and compares herself to people around her, thinking that she could be better and hating herself for "not being enough."
