Apparatus (Ara) [WIP]

A half unicorn half human hybrid who has risen the ranks of the Royal guard despite all odds, becoming a respected soldier. She is passionate about justice and pushing the boundaries of what is considered standard in her kingdom’s social system, and finds herself glowing when she helps those in need. Hard-working, dedicated, passionate, she seems like the perfect soldier.

However, she does have a secret second life in her hidden romance with her fiancé, Heim. When the weight of her duties and the people’s judgement threatens to crush her, Heim is always there. She finds herself more vulnerable with him, more relaxed and carefree as she’s freed from rules and regulations. She balances this double life well enough, despite the conflicts the kingdom has with Heim. One day however, she knows this charade will have to end and she’ll have to pick her life’s purpose, or the love of her life..
