Language & Content:

This server primarily operates in English, as our staff and moderators are proficient in English and may not be able to moderate other languages effectively. We maintain a PG-13 environment, so please refrain from posting any lewd content. While we permit artistic nudity, explicit depictions such as showing genitals or seductive poses are not allowed. Swearing is permissible, but it must be done respectfully; avoid directing swear words towards others for amusement. Any derogatory language, regardless of intent or reclamation efforts, is strictly prohibited. Additionally, any content, including images, artwork, or messages, concerning sensitive topics (refer to our list below) must be marked as spoilers at all times without exception.

Hate speech:

Any instances of homophobia, transphobia, ableism, racism, or any infringement upon human rights within our server will lead to an immediate and permanent ban. We strictly prohibit the use of derogatory slurs, regardless of any attempts to reclaim them. Our community values respect, inclusivity, and the protection of human dignity, and any violations of these principles will not be tolerated.

Respect + Open Minded:

Please steer clear of engaging in any form of disrespectful discussions, and endeavor to address any conflicts or issues courteously. Only offer art criticism when it is explicitly requested, and confine such critiques to our designated art assistance channel. If someone seeks feedback, kindly provide it in a constructive and respectful manner, refraining from making jests or picking at their work in a manner that could be perceived as rude or harmful.

Controversial topics:

We encourage minimizing discussions or jokes concerning controversial topics within the server. Should someone express discomfort with a particular conversation or joke, promptly remove it and transition to a different topic. Our aim is to foster a respectful and comfortable environment for all members, where everyone feels valued and included.

Channel Etiquette:

It's important to post content in the channels designated for specific topics or purposes. Avoid spamming any content outside of our designated spam channel. Take the time to read the pinned messages in each channel to ensure that you're in the right place and posting in the appropriate area. This helps maintain organization and clarity within the server, allowing members to easily find and engage with relevant discussions or content.

Credits:

It's imperative to consistently acknowledge and attribute credit to the creators of any content you share, even if the piece already displays credits. This requirement is non-negotiable, and failure to comply will result in a timeout. Always ensure to include a link to the original creator or the source of the content for proper crediting. This practice not only demonstrates respect for the creators' work but also enables our members to explore more of their content if they wish to do so.

Art Channel Respect:

In all of our art channels, except for the work in progress (WIP) channels, it is mandatory to provide a compliment to the art posted above yours in the thread associated with the art. This should be done before posting your own art, not after. You are expected to give a compliment even if someone else has already done so. If you're unable to locate the thread, you can click on the threads button in the channel to locate it. Emoji reactions are not considered valid compliments, and your compliment must contain something specific that you appreciate about the artwork and why you appreciate it. Superficial compliments such as "cool," "looks great," "adorable," or "looks adorable," are not acceptable and will not be tolerated. If you provide such a comment, you will be required to rewrite your compliment and repost your art, as your post will be deleted.

Conflict Resolution:

Please strive to prevent conflicts within the server or through direct messages (DMs). If you encounter an issue, always reach out to an online staff member for assistance. It's important to understand that we are not accountable for any drama that may arise from your actions or those of others. By proactively seeking assistance from our staff members, we can work together to maintain a harmonious and respectful environment for all members.

Featured Art:

If you wish to have your artwork or a Zippleon featured, you can do so by reacting to the art or the Zippleon with a star emoji (⭐️). However, please note that a Zippleon or artwork must accumulate at least four stars to be eligible for featuring. Additionally, it's important to refrain from reacting to your own post with a star emoji. You should only react to self-made artwork (excluding art posted by others) or official Zippleons in our designated Zippleon show off channel. This ensures fairness and recognition for the creators within our community.

Advertising:

When advertising, it's crucial to maintain a PG-13 standard, meaning no lewd or NSFW content of any kind is allowed. Additionally, there are specific guidelines to follow: Firstly, there must be a 30-minute gap between each advertisement to allow for fair exposure. Furthermore, reposting the same or similar ad within a 24-hour timeframe is prohibited. If you notice someone else has already posted a similar ad, such as a MYO event for a species, refrain from reposting it. Only species servers (Open, closed, or semi) are permitted for advertising; other types of servers are not allowed. All server advertisements should be shared in our self-promotion channel, and it's important to ensure that your adverts are posted in the appropriate channels. Alt accounts:

While alt accounts are allowed in our server, You will not be allowed to use your alt accounts to gain currency and/or items within the server to transfer to yourself. Not everyone has access to other accounts and this is considered exploiting and cheating. 

Zippleon Specific Rules

Trading:

Given that Zippleons are an exclusive species limited to our Discord server, it's imperative to adhere to certain guidelines regarding their distribution. Trading Zippleons is only permissible among individuals already present within our Discord community. When showcasing your Zippleon outside of our server, whether on platforms like Toyhou.se or Refsheet.net, it's mandatory to include an active invite link inviting others to join our server. This invite link, available below the rules section in our rules channel, must remain valid and not expired. Furthermore, if the individual receiving the Zippleon is a new member, they must undergo verification within the server before completing the trade. These measures ensure that only verified members can engage in Zippleon transactions within our community.

Trading Cool Down:

Before transferring a Zippleon, it's essential to observe a mandatory waiting period of at least one week, which is equivalent to seven days. This regulation applies to any member-owned or MYO (Make Your Own) Zippleon that is created within our community. However, it's important to note that this waiting period does not apply to official adopts created by the server or to our subspecies. This rule ensures a balanced and fair distribution process for all Zippleons while exempting certain official creations and subspecies from the waiting period requirement.

Masterlist Submissions:

To submit your Zippleon to our DeviantArt Masterlist (ML), it's crucial to fill out the provided form in our DA ML submissions channel completely. Your Zippleon image must be transparent, preferably with a white outline, although this outline isn't mandatory as our staff adds it manually before posting to the ML. Our masterlist is currently hosted on deviantart.com, so when completing the form, make sure to include your DA username. If you don't have a DeviantArt account, provide a username associated with your Toyhou.se account instead. Avoid including any links in the form as they make it difficult to locate your entries. If you have a MYO (Make Your Own) egg or ticket and haven't designed it yet, feel free to submit the ticket in the ML submissions channel. After your design is created, it needs to be approved before being updated on the ML. When requesting approval and image updates, include the ML link to your MYO for reference. If the image you received from an adopt lacks the required aspects, reach out to the designer for a transparent version. This ensures consistency and accuracy in our DeviantArt Masterlist entries.

Redesigning Cooldown + Info:

To initiate a full redesign of your Zippleon, a waiting period of at least 7 days, equivalent to a week, is mandatory. To proceed with any alterations to your Zippleon, you must possess the change cookie item along with any required mutation sprouts necessary for the modifications. Before initiating any redesign, it's crucial to obtain permission from the original designer. You have the option to utilize the same mutations for the redesign without needing a sprout. For instance, if you wish to alter the plant growth aspect of your Zippleon from having sprouts on the head to having sprouts and vines on the tail, you can achieve this using the change cookie instead of a mutation sprout. However, if the Zippleon does not possess the plant growth mutation and you intend to add it, a mutation sprout will be required. This process ensures that all redesigns are conducted with proper authorization and adherence to mutation requirements.

Warning and Punishment Policy

Once you've received three warnings, whether through direct messages or within the server, you will incur a temporary ban. Upon your reinstatement, continued rule violations will result in a permanent ban, with no exceptions. If you find yourself banned, you will be notified of the reasons for your ban. Please be aware that you are not allowed to retain your Zippleon characters as they are exclusive to Discord. However, you have the option to void them and change their species or transfer them to another individual. If you need assistance with this process, feel free to reach out to an online staff member for support.
