✦ Summary
Aurel grew up as best as he could; giving everything his all. To his great disappointment, all his efforts were met with lukewarm responses. His parents were busy, always focused on themselves. His sister tried her best to cheer him up but, due to being significantly younger than him, never really got it. Through childhood, he had to raise himself & his younger sister. Their parents did provide for them, except merely providing was and would never be enough for children.
✦ Up to Current
Aurel's will to work hard and be outstanding in whatever he set out to do promptly faded once he entered adulthood. He moved out as soon as he was financially able to, signing into the apartment building he remains in till present. His sister came with him, staying for a handful of years until she was able to find a place of her own. As a day to evening job, Aurel works as a server in a high-end restaurant. He's fond of his boss there & is content with his wages.
✦ Relationships
Aurel's sister is his most beloved person. Despite his lack of motivation, he would do just about anything for her. Though they're both adults and living in seperate areas now they make regular efforts to meet up and hang out. They like going on hikes, to the cinema, and wherever their stomachs lead them. She visits him at work and though he'll scold her for it, it makes him happy.
Aurel met Jekyll when he moved into his apartment building. They became fast friends, developing a close brothership & bonding over being humanly nonhuman. They enjoy getting together after work to play all sorts of videogames. He likes inviting Jekyll to his work and giving him discounts, freebies, the like.
Jekyll's partner. She intimidates him, albeit unintentionally, and he often just sticks with Jekyll when she's around. Very glad she doesn't engage in PDA with Jekyll when he's around, he accidently got to their apartment too early one day and learned both a lesson & just how affectionate they can get.
