normally lazy and sedentary. He has no empathy for other creatures and only sees them as things to eat. If it weren't for his bad habit of playing with his food, he wouldn't be very noteworthy... as it stands, he has substantial bounties on his head. Too bad he's really good at hiding. 

he has tentacles on his head and shoulders, and is capable of temporarily manifesting more from the dark markings on his body. The tentacles are actually semi-transparent, elastic skin filled with fluid. He has full control of their movement, how squishy or firm they are, their length, etc. His body movements may be sluggish outside of the water, but his tentacles are lightning fast and very strong, so beware. 

the dark markings on his body constantly move and change shape, as if made of liquid. Their placement is fairly consistent but not always, new ones can change and old ones can disappear (for this reason when drawing him, it's fine for the markings to not be exact) The movement of his markings is usually pretty slow, but quicken when he feels strong emotions. 

his skin secretes toxins, which he can make more or less potent at will. Very low doses have a numbing, slightly paralytic effect, higher doses can cause unconsciousness, and very high doses are deadly.

there is one thing that may save you from being eaten if you have the misfortune of encountering him. He's an adventurous eater, and if you happen to offer something he's never had before, he may spare your life in exchange.
