About

I worked endlessly for my place in life and my title here.

A man of honor is what he is. In life and in death he is respected by many, only difference is why. Currently he is the Virtue of Temperance as well as being the first and most power amongst the new generation of Saints, which he can't be more grateful for. It's truly an honor, something he never would have imagined, but there's always a feeling that he can't shake off--similar to a pit in the stomach. Oddly enough it's most prevalent around Edgar.

  • Though his sense of pride can cloud it, Santos is a kind man at heart. He experiences empathy, compassion and all other things just like anyone else, he is a Saint after all. It's just the fact he feels his accomplishments give him a reason to behave the way he does when it comes to his self-worth, it's the way he was raised. He was praised for most things by others, mostly family, and most of said praise has lead him to view himself as someone superb.
  • Regardless he still tries to treat people equally and with some level of kindness, keeping his judgements to himself unless ever so provoked. There's a lot that happens in his mind, but only a handful of those things are ever shown to the world outside of it.

  • Gold. "It is better than silver. Do not try and argue with me about this because I will simply ignore you."
  • Fashion. "I cannot lie, I care a lot about my appearance. Even though most of it is natural I must make sure the clothes I wear bring out my features in a positive light. Fashion is interesting, the different kinds and how some things will fit on one person, but look horrendous on the next. It's fascinating in a way."
  • Math. "A guilty pleasure I must admit. Many express a disliking towards the subject, I however find it quite enjoyable.. It's like a fun little game for my mind."
  • Santos? "I think everyone should love themself just a little."

Dislikes

  • Animals. "I unfortunately don't enjoy the presence of most animals. They bring mess, carry diseases and behave like.. animals. Mm, I suppose humans aren't really any better now that I think about it."
  • Competitiveness. "I have no issue working alongside others, however if all they wish to do is turn everything into a competition I find myself becoming annoyed."
  • Hypocrisy. "What? This one is self explanatory."
  • Metal music. "Or anything relating to the genre. It's irritating and barely even cohesive, I'm unsure why people consider such noise music, it's similar to nails on a chalkboard I tell you."

Trivia

  • Santos enjoys singing, he's quite good at it. He tried to pick up piano so he could add his own spice whenever he'd sing for others, but unfortunately he wasn't very good at it nor did he seem to have the patience to try and further his abilities with it. A shame. he'll have to stick with Vincent's saxophone as background music for him.
  • Santos holds The Power of The Sun. NOOOO ELABORATION 😂 Will say tho he's gotten more used to using his sword and dagger due to only being able to use said power when the sun is present.
  • His soul is in his badge that's clipped onto his cloak.
    • It's a family heirloom given to him by his father. He was meant to pass it on to his first born child as tradition, however he died with it before he could get the chance to.

Santos has taken an interest in Mai, in the way that he sees a lot of potential within her. He's also intrigued by the fact the two of them have similar stories. In general she's just an interesting person in his eyes.

Sinclair and I talk over tea from time to time, she's a nice company to have.

Santos and Cupid have the rockiest relationship out of all the Saints. They often bicker and fight which ends up with them getting in trouble with Edgar.

How am I meant to bond with her? She's like a stick of dynamite and is constantly at my throat for the most miniscule of reasons.
