Azara

Often mistaken for a woman, Azara is a beautiful man who grew up with Hain during elementary school, though they eventually grew distant in high school due to Azara’s father, as he was withdrawn from school shortly after freshman year started. He comes off as warm and sociable, almost always having a smile on his face, and has a soft and kind voice. He’s very interested in cute and feminine things, preferring cute sweets and usually dressed in pastel or vibrant colors, something that often garners the ire of his father. His interests in technology, internet culture, and fashion are what Hain bonded with him over as kids, and are all things he’s still fascinated with today. Despite his softness, though, Azara is also capable of defending himself physically. Similar to Hain, at least in the past, he possesses few magical capabilities, instead excelling in technology and computer science.

Azara was named and most beloved by his mother, who he always spent the most time with as a child, something that was blamed by his father as a contributing factor for being the way he is now. His father married his mother in hopes of getting a son to inherit his company, a big-name accounting firm, and while he did get a son, Azara far from lives up to expectations, as he desired a “real son” and not who Azara is. As such, his father constantly tries to mold Azara into someone else, something that he was largely protected from by his mother until her death when he started high school. As a result, Azara then had no defense against his father, and at least until his introduction in the story, is still under his jurisdiction, working at his firm.
